The QR opens your public profile in the browser or the LinkedIn app—whichever the recipient’s phone prefers. You are not asking them to install anything new.

Step 1: Copy your LinkedIn profile URL

On LinkedIn, open your profile and copy the public URL (linkedin.com/in/your-handle). Use the vanity URL if you have one—it is shorter and looks cleaner if anyone reads the link aloud.

Make sure the profile is set to a visibility level you are comfortable sharing with new contacts.
